Treatments Tailored Just For You

Remedial Massage

Our remedial massage therapy is designed to treat musculoskeletal issues, reduce pain, and enhance the body’s natural healing processes. This therapeutic approach involves skilled manipulation of soft tissues, including muscles, tendons, and ligaments, to address injuries, postural problems, and chronic tension. By improving circulation, relieving tension, and promoting flexibility, remedial massage helps restore balance and mobility, making it a powerful tool for both injury recovery and overall well-being.

Health rebates are available for the treatment.

Our relaxation massage is a soothing therapy focused on relieving stress and promoting deep relaxation. This gentle, full-body treatment uses smooth, flowing strokes to calm the nervous system, improve circulation, and ease muscle tension. Ideal for those looking to unwind, a relaxation massage helps rejuvenate the mind and body, leaving you feeling refreshed, peaceful, and balanced.

Hot stone massage is a therapeutic massage technique that involves the use of smooth, heated stones placed on specific points of the body and used by the therapist to perform massage strokes. The warmth of the stones helps to relax muscles more deeply, improve circulation, reduce stress, and promote a sense of overall well-being. This treatment combines the benefits of traditional massage with the soothing properties of heat for a deeply relaxing experience.

Lymphatic drainage massage, which is sometimes called manual lymphatic drainage, or MLD, is a gentle, therapeutic massage technique designed to support the lymphatic system by encouraging the natural drainage of lymph, which carries waste and toxins away from tissues. MLD helps reduce swelling, improve circulation, and boost the immune system. It's particularly beneficial for managing lymphedema, speeding up recovery after surgery or injury, and promoting relaxation. This soothing treatment can also improve skin health and reduce puffiness, leaving you feeling revitalized and balanced.

Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy massage is a gentle, therapeutic treatment designed to help relieve the physical discomforts that can occur as your body changes throughout pregnancy. It can help ease muscle tension, lower back and hip discomfort, tight shoulders, headaches, swollen or heavy legs, and general aches and pains, while also promoting relaxation and better sleep.

We view pregnancy as a different state of wellness, and massage can be appropriate throughout pregnancy when there are no medical concerns or complications. If you have any concerns, particularly during the first trimester, we recommend discussing massage with your doctor or healthcare provider. You may also simply prefer to wait until your second trimester, which is completely up to you. Your treatment is adapted to your stage of pregnancy and individual comfort. We use a pregnancy and breast pillow for support, with side-lying or reclined positioning when appropriate, allowing you to relax while your therapist works on areas of tension.

Pregnancy massage is a chance to ease discomfort, calm the mind and take some time for yourself during a busy and changing stage of life.

Scar tissue release is a specialised therapy designed to improve the mobility and flexibility of tissue affected by surgery, injury or trauma. Scar tissue and underlying tissue damage can sometimes create areas of restriction or tension, which may affect movement and contribute to discomfort. Using gentle, targeted techniques, your therapist works with the scar and surrounding tissues to help reduce restrictions, improve tissue mobility and restore more natural movement through the affected area. Scar tissue release can be used for post-surgical scars, trauma wounds, amputations, burns and skin grafts, as well as deeper tissue injuries where there may be no visible scar. This can include fibrous tissue associated with tendon or bone injuries, plantar fasciitis and micro-tears within the fascia.

Treatment is suitable for scars that are at least 8 weeks old and sufficiently healed for treatment. Scar tissue release is not suitable over surgical mesh, active cancer, infected wounds or contagious infections. If you are unsure whether your injury or scar is appropriate for treatment, we recommend discussing it with your doctor or treating healthcare professional first.
